The global visibility is considerably increased through linking the institutional repository to global search systems. You can send your paper via → upload form or in an e-mail to the → library.
In the [→ upload form], enter the information about your person and your publication. After uploading your paper in PDF/A format (→ about conversion), you can determine wheter and to what extent your scientific work can be accessed. You can use the license selection (→ info licenses) to determine the any usage restrictions of your publication. In the → declaration of consent, you grant the Mozarteum University Library the non-exclusive right to publish and archive your work according to the specified criteria. Furthermore, you confirm that you have complied with the copyrights and regulations as author.
The upload and publication of documents on the publication server are subject to copyright according to §§ 15, 18a UrhG. Unless you are the sole copyright holder, you may upload the paper to the platform only with the explicit written consent of other rights holders (especially: co-author, publisher, third-party sponsor). In particular, make sure that no exclusive right to exploit the paper has been granted to publisher or other third party. By uploading, you confirm that you have clarified the copyright admissibility of the document and all its components (eg: illustrations) and further, that you have the right to do so. You also acknowledge that no third-party rights are infringed and that you indemnify and hold the Mozarteum University Salzburg non-actionable.
There is no automatic publication, so that the document is only visible on the Internet after it has been approved by the Mozarteum University Library. It can be used for scientific and private purposes whithin the legal framework.
In order to ensure citation, permanent link addresses are allocated to the works. The documents are archived according to the current state of the art and, if necessary, converted to ensure readability. The metadata is passed on to other relevant repositories and search services.
In the case of a → second publication, the document will only be published in the repository after the expiration of any blocking periods.
